Eachine e58 In Flight

The Eachine e58 Drone – World’s Most Popular Camera Drone!

Arguably, the Eachine e58 drone is the most popular portable camera drone in the world.

This review covers drone performance and overall user experience and for starters, I have to tell you that I absolutely LOVE this little drone!

I got my first e58 in August 2020, after flying racing drones for about a year.

I was very impressed with the features in the App, and although I was able to fly this drone FPV, the Wi-Fi lag makes it very difficult to fly outdoors and all but impossible to fly indoors.

Here is the Eachine Demo for this drone:

While it certainly looks like a DJI Mavic 2 Mini, the Eachine e58 is a very basic drone with a low quality 1080P camera that captures blurry 4K photos and choppy 1080P video through the App, directly on mobile phones memory.

I love taking this drone with me wherever I go; it’s very small and the carrying case fits perfectly in the doors of our Grand Caravan or Silverado truck. It’s ready to fly, and can get airborne in just a few seconds:

The camera quality is mediocre, at best. But, as I mentioned, it’s super portable and RTF so in my book, it’s the perfect camera drone for beginners or experienced pilots like yours truly who love to fly on a shoe string budget.

Here’s some camera footage of the Eachine e58 drone:

The e58 drone is equipped with a 120° wide-angle 1080P HD camera that can be adjusted manually, and of course, it does flips, flies headless and has 3 speed grades.

The controller can accommodate large phones, but not thick ones. I have a phone case so my phone doesn’t fit the transmitter unless I remove my phone case which is a pain…

You can fly the e58 using the App and your phone’s gyroscope, but again, the slow Wi-Fi will likely cause a crash.

To keep up my eye/hand coordination, I like to fly this drone indoors, LOS with the transmitter once a day when my kids are watching The Price Is Right… :D

All in all, a fantastic little drone that’s not only cost effective, it’s a TON OF FUN!!!

Lutz Wedding Photographer

Wedding in Lake Park, FL

Lutz Wedding PhotographerToday, the Lord provided magnificent  Florida weather, as Melissa and Chris spoke their vows of love before family and friends at Lake Park, in Lutz.

By the mighty hand of God, stormy weather turned from grey to bright, breezy and sunny just as the bride arrived in her stretched limo.

Lake Park is a vast area conveniently nested among residential & commercial neighborhoods in Lutz, FL, and one of my favorite hiking spots.

Heather & Jason’s Wedding Day, Spring Hill, FL

Since getting started back in 1985 I have been blessed to shoot more beach weddings than I can count. Somehow, earlier today I was blown away with the most spectacular beach I’ve seen in over a decade…

Paradise Found?

Spring Hill is a neo-traditional town located on the Florida gulf coast, north of Port Richey.

In other words, this slice of heaven on earth offers residents the opportunity to live and work in paradise.

In their search for paradise, people often travel to the far corners of the earth, only to come up empty-handed. In reality, paradise is a lot closer than most people think. Long stretches of pristine beaches made up of the brightest of white sands. Refreshing breezes blowing off the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The peace and tranquility of gently lapping surf, singing gulls and sandpipers. These are the ingredients that make up the city of Spring Hill–paradise found.

Residents of Spring Hill are lucky to not only live and work here, but also to have the opportunity to play here. When work is finished and the rest of the errands can wait, Spring Hill is the perfect location for a vacation. Mild year-round temperatures, yet still a change of season; spectacular beaches free from crowds; the natural beauty of a beach-side destination located on a designated scenic road; aesthetically-pleasing architecture and award-winning, expertly-designed layout; convenient and quaint town center, amenities such as tennis courts, pools, dune walkovers to the beach and lots of green areas in which to relax; these are the qualities of the new paradise of Spring Hill.

Don Cesar Resort Wedding Photographer, St Petersburg, FL

bride-tossing-bouquetThe Don Cesar Resort in St Petersburg ranks among the most endearing resorts I ever seen, period.

Earlier today, I photographed a wedding between two Christian teachers that truly moved me in ways very few wedding can, and have.

I have to admit, my expectations were very high, as the “Don” is such an opulent venue I could only imagine the way the night was going to go down considering the huge, fully stocked wide open bar stocked with top brands…

But nope! Nothing went wrong! Not a single misconduct penalty! Except, of course, for the lovely bride who got a bit tipsy off a half flute of Champagne after eating next to nothing all day. :)

Fir a change, a solid group of Christians put together an amazingly clean wedding where there was in fact, an open bar!

The character of the people present at today’s Don Cesar wedding matched by the extraordinary professionalism displayed by the resort staff turned an event headed for disaster, into a truly blessed wedding that did give praises to God.

I recall my first photo opp at the Don Cesar was in 2002, when I was blown away with the magnitude of the place considering its prime location along the Tampa Bay, overlooking downtown St Petersburg, FL.

First United Methodist Church of Dade City Wedding

First United Methodist Church of Dade City, FLEarlier today, another seemingly typical church wedding turned extraordinary when the Lord blessed me as I photographed the wedding of Jennifer and Steve Long at the First United Methodist Church in Dade City, FL.

As if Dade City wasn’t picturesque enough on its own, my first visit to this historic church left me in complete awe with the magnificence of God. Then, both the bride and groom turned out to be spiritual examples for a whole new generation to learn from.

Our Lord’s plan for today’s wedding not only included a phenomenal couple and their guests, our heavenly Father’s will led me to capture some of the most incredible church exterior shots I ever photographed at a church wedding.

I give praise to the Lord for such phenomenal photo opportunities and, or course, for the unraveling on His plan for my life as an award winning wedding photographer.

Today, at the First United Methodist Church of Dade City, I came face to face with a wave of creativity made possible by, of all things the weather and a man made building.

If you are considering a wedding ceremony at the First United Methodist Church in Dade City, FL then don’t procrastinate and book your date with me ASAP, since this church or I are typically booked up to 2 years in advance during busy months which are spring and fall.
